I joined #TeamStroke for the TCS London Marathon 2024.
There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.
We're here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke, so we work with the stroke community to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support. We rely on your support to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

I am running the London Marathon for Stroke Association!
Friday 1st SepI will be running the London Marathon to raise money for The Stroke Association!
Every stride I make in the London Marathon is a tribute to my dad's strength.
The impact of that life-altering event left my dad with left-side paralysis and the inability to walk again. Witnessing his courage in the face of such adversity, and experiencing firsthand the ripple effects it had on our lives, has given me the determination to bring about positive change.
With every step I take during this marathon, I'm raising awareness and funds for the Stroke Association.
I aim to not only honor my dad's journey but also to stand in solidarity with countless others who have experienced the challenges that stroke can bring.
Any support means the world to me. As I cross each mile marker, I'll be thinking of my dad, my family, and all those who have faced the aftermath of a stroke.
